The Upstream Characterization Toolkit enables a smooth transition to 16 QAM for VoIP and high speed data services by qualifying the performance of the return path. It includes a CM1000 with an Upstream Signal Generator (USG) module and an AT2500 Spectrum/QAM Analyzer.
